Ben Gilbey described David Joseph Cohen as "the Jewish Messi" after he helped himself to a four-goal salvo as FC Team A registered their biggest win of the season with a crushing 8-2 success over Blizzard.

David James Cohen, Shim Bensoor (2) and Rob Sanford were also on the mark as Ben Gilbey's boys hit the jackpot at Hertswood.

Michael Woolfe and Jonti Amberand registered for Blizzard who came from 2-0 down to level before goalkeeper Robbie Krupski broke his nose and was rushed to hospital, and Team cashed in.

Gilbey told JC Sport: "It was a great result, exactly what the doctor ordered. We controlled the game and played some really nice football at time on which was a very small pitch.

"Blizzard could not contain 'the Jewish Messi' - David Joseph Cohen - who ran riot on the defence and debutante Bar Hariely, showed what a great signing he will be as well.

"Now it is time for us to push on and push up the league, with a big game against Harmen next Sunday. The win is all that we are thinking about. Live the dream! Up the Team!"

Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "The result was a real blow. I was disappointed to see us ship 5 goals in 10 minutes.

"We struggled in the first half going in at 2-0 down. We quickly responded after the break and pulled two goals back before our keeper, Robbie Krupski, broke his nose and was rushed to hospital.

"No excuses, FC Team were the better team and thoroughly deserved the points. It was a tough day in the office

"On behalf of everyone at the club we wish Robbie a speedy recovery, he has been outstanding this season."
