Game over for Israelis

Israeli involvement ended at Wimbledon on Tuesday after Andy Ram was eliminated in the third round of the men’s doubles.

Together with Max Mirnyi, the fourth seeds were beaten in a five-set thriller by unseeded pair Simon Aspelin and Paul Hanley in a match held over from Monday.

The singles competition featured a personal best for Dudi Sela, 24. He expects to climb up the world rankings to 35 after reaching the last 16.
