LEEDS Maccabi launched the defence of their Harold Feldman Trophy by crushing South Manchester 2nds 6-2.
The MJSL champions maintained their fine form by cruising into the semi-finals thanks to deadly doubles from Nick Vale and Tim Zoltie, while Richard Black and Gidi Omar also weighed in.
South Manchester 2nds never threw in the towel with Felix Shallom on target.
Maccabi Manchester Yellow returned to winning ways after demolishing South Manchester Sports 3rd 5-1.
Jonny Rashman and Roy Fux were among the goalscorers for Anton Radiven’s men.
Radiven said: "After a couple of disappointing results it was important we got back on track. We have hhigh hopes for our chances in his competition."
There is also a last-four spot for Maccabi Manchester Blue following their 5-3 win at Heaton Park Rovers. But they didn’t progress without a scare.
Sammy Dennison, Moishe Hasid and Nathan Pitt helped the visitors open up a four-goal lead at the break – only for HPR to launch a second-half fightback in the eight-goal thriller.
