articlemain

Here are the star men from Matchday 12 of the MGBSFL.

1. STEVE MURAD (NW Neasden) - "excellent handling in terrible conditions was made some super crucial saves in the first half"

2. DAVE COHEN (Blizzard Storm) - "the full-back defended ever so well and had a huge part in our goal with a great run down the wing to lay it on the plate for Henry"

3. BEN GARDNER (Boca Jewniors) - a rock of defiance at the heart against Fortune

4. RICHARD JAFFE (Faithfold B) - a tower of strength at the back against Hendon B

5. CRAIG EDWARDS (NW Neasden) - lead a brilliant rearguard performance against MLL Blue. Was "excellent never allowing lions to get behind us" and restricted them only to long range efforts

6. JARRED RUDMAN (NL Raiders C) - "a constant threat down the wing, getting in behind the Mill Hill defence with ease. Worked hard all game to help out his teammates"

7. BRAD WINE (Oakwood A) – SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

8. DANIEL STANTON (FC Team C) - "the difference on the day with an absolutely brilliant performance. The horrendous conditions didn’t affect him at all, scoring twice and running the game"

9. SIMON MOSES (Los Blancos) - "another hat-trick for the front man, with his second particularly standing out, as he scored a smashing dipping half volley from 25 yards out. Held the ball up superbly throughout, causing all sorts of issues for the Camden defence. His mid-season signing from Brady has coincided with LB's upturn in form - no coincidence there - with nine goals in four games"

10. MATT STOCK (NL Raiders A) - A-team nomination: "was exceptional all morning and it was great to see him hitting the form that we all know he is more than capable of". B-team nomination: the outstanding player on the pitch was Matt Stock, he was in irresistible form and at times completely"

11. PHILIPPE AURET (AC Whetstone) - "man-of-the-match for a brace, including magical second" against Oakwood B
