There were a plethora of top performances in league and cup on Matchday 26 of the JC MSFL season, but only the cream of the crop made it in to my Select XI.
1. Yossi LANNING (Camden Park) – “the game against Republic of Flixton would have been dead long before 110 minutes of football if not for him”
2. Reiss MOGILNER (Brady Maccabi B) – “continued his devastating form, four goals and one assist for the ever evolving current MSFL young player of the year”
3. Adam VELLEMAN (Southgate Harmen) – “captain marvel, caretaker manager and cool as a cucumber with his penalty”
4. Darren BROWN (Redbridge Jewish Care B) – “since Darren Brown started playing for the team on a regular basis post Chanukah, we have been unbeaten. He had another five-star performance today, full of poise, command and total dominance. An example to the younger boys how to play the game and how to lead. A centre back par excellence”
5. David NEZRI (London Maccabi Lions A) – “stunning committed performance against Raiders”
6. Greg CORIN (Hendon United Sports Club A) – “all-action display from minute 1 to 90 capped off with two excellent goals “in the cup against Norstar A
7. Sam REEVES (Faithfold A) – the best player on show in the cup quarter-final win over Oakwood
8. Jonny LEE (Catford & Bromley Maccabi B) – “Raiders couldn't live with him from the outset and his quality from set pieces put the Cats on the road to victory”
9. Josh FLAX (Athletic Bilbaum) – “playing for the first time upfront for the Baums, put in an outstanding performance and scored the vital winner with two minutes to go in the second game”
10. Jamie KENT (Shirley Park) – match-winning hat-trick against Woodford
11. Jaimie SINCLAIR (Loughton Orient) – “worked his socks off for the team and was everywhere today. Great on the ball and in the air against AC Mill Hill”
