Danny Caro's Division 2 Team of the Week: April 10

articlemain

Here are the star men from Division Two of the MGBSFL on Matchday 30.

1. GRANT WAISSEL (NL Raiders C) - "looking in fine form at the moment, pulled off some important saves and kept his usual command of the box - and all after getting engaged on Saturday night!"

2. JOSH KREWNE (Scrabble FC) - "had a tough job marking tricky veteran Daryl Phillips but so solid in that role"

3. ADAM LIPMAN (ML Lions B) - "ran the show from the middle of the park, distributing passes around the pitch and breaking up everything he could"

4. NICK LANDESBERG (ML Lions B) - "back from a three-week injury and showed his class. Totally solid at the back and got on the end of two set pieces to get two goals"

5. JONATHAN PETERS (Scrabble FC) - "not playing in his favourite position, he was rock solid with Anthony Goodmaker at the heart of the defence"

6. ADAM WATERS (Scrabble FC) - "superb battling performances bruised and battered but a 'never-say-die-attitude'"

7. JOSH KLEPPER (Temple Fortune) – "won a penalty, providing a total of three assists including a peach of pass for Amir Wiselmans’ second"

8. EDDIE STERNBERG (FC Team C) - "involved in everything and two goals were deserved for his days’ work"

9. ELLIOTT ESPINOZA (Scrabble FC) - "playmaker used off the striker today and later dropping back in his more familiar midfield role. Didn't waste a pass and always a threat. Superb goal as well"

10. DANNY SHERMAN (Scrabble FC) - gain playing most of the game with his back to goal bringing people into play and 90 minutes of unselfish running

11. AMIR WISELMAN (Temple Fortune) – two superb goals from our youngest player who never looks out of place

MANAGER: Ray Abrahams (Scrabble FC)
