Lord Kestenbaum and 2012 Olympic medallist Karina Bryant were among a number of guests at the Team GB kit day at JCoss in Barnet.
With just over a month to go until the 19th Maccabiah Games begin, more 300 members of Team GB, who will be one of the largest delegations in Israel, gathered together to collect their uniforms.
The kits, are made by Canterbury and sponsored by UJIA, Credo, Pears Foundation and Rothschild, were displayed before Team GB Manager David Pinnick, Team GB Head of Delegation David Kyte and Lord Kestenbaum addressed the audience before Bryant gave an inspirational talk on what it took for her to win her bronze in London last year.
Maccabi GB Logistics manager Elizabeth Fishel said: "Having spent months and almost years planning the kit and getting the bags packed, it was a great feeling to see the smiles on all of the faces as each squad collected their bags.
"his event marks the start of an exciting month for Maccabi GB as the squad get ready to take part at the Maccabiah Games in July. Hearing from Karina was definitely a highlight for me and an inspiration to the whole squad."
