Belmont and Edgware 2nds ran out comfortable winners in a friendly against North Harrow.
Stand-in skipper Adam Goldman lost the toss but his side proceeded to rip through their opponents’ batting line-up.
Goldman took 3-10 and his opening partner Yaniv Jennings returned figures of 2-10. They made way for Gideon Matlin (2-12) and Lawrence Jeffries (3-11), who cleaned up the lower order, leaving North Harrow all out for 55.
In reply, Cliff Horowitz and Harvey Samuels opened the batting but were removed cheaply. Paul Levy steadied the ship before unleashing a flurry of boundaries, finishing on 24 not out.
Darren Diamond came and went for 0 but Michael Blasebalk kept Levy company as BECC 2s sauntered over the line, winning by seven wickets.
