Team manager Baraty has placed an emphasis on youth playing at high local league level, as well as a few nationally ranked players who will give the squad a good chance of bringing home medals.

Baraty said: “The aim, as always, is to have fun and enjoy both the Jewish culture and unity alongside sporting competition.

“Of course we target podium positions and if possible a gold medal. There have been a few Jewish world champions in the past which naturally makes our sport very competitive so hopefully we will follow in their footsteps and bring back gold for Great Britain.”
