A new exhibition explores the immigrant experience in the UK. Entitled No Turning Back: Seven Migration Moments that Changed Britain, it is on display at The Workshop, 26 Lambeth High Street, London SE1 7AG until February.
Each turning point is explored through a combination of personal stories, commentary, photography and art from established and emerging British and international artists.
This includes the expulsion of England’s entire Jewish population in 1290 and the Aliens Act in 1905, and the exhibition also includes comments and contributions from figures within the British Jewish community. The exhibition has been put on by the Migration Museum Project.
