Interestingly I address a comment to the moderator and the ever Watchful answers. Am I missing something?
I draw attention to the drip drip drip of anti-Israel material (provided by the ISM and other anti-Israel groups much of it bordering on the anti-Semitic) being loaded on to this site by the blogger called "JonOtway" and the ever Watchful jumps to his defence adding distasteful ad hominem attacks on me for good measure.
It is also interesting to note that ever Watchful tries to defend the moderation of this blog almost as if he/she was defending his/her job - again am I missing something?
Be that as it may by defending the indefensible the JC should be in no doubt why, when it is that Jews have always got a lot to say for themselves, hardly any of them blog on this site despite the fact that they are given a free platform to do so.
For my part to continue to allow a blogger to openly confess on this website that he used chains against Kahanists and who repeatedly calls Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria "toxic" an epithet originally coined by an extreme left wing anti-Israel Group and which of course contributes to the delegitimisation of the Jewish claim to the Holy Land is irresponsible to say the least. Calling fellow Jews "toxic" is hardly conducive to polite and intelligent debate which one would have thought was at least one of the objects of this blogsite.
So I may not be the only Jew in town, (I never claimed to be - just one of the very few Jews who defend Israel against the lies posted on this site), but Iris may soon have the dubious title of being - apart from the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities (and all power to them in a very hostile environment) - the only Jew on the JC blogsite and then he/she can post asinine comments to him/herself.
