Palestinian medics said a farmer, 65, was shot dead by Israeli troops near the border fence. Israel's military, which warns Palestinians not to approach the border, said it was not involved in any shooting in the area.

Very strange affair. Looks like the propaganda news blaming a two-years old 'Palestinian work accident' on an Israeli attack, during the Cast Lead operation.
Since IDF have never denied that a shooting occured when there was one, it seems that the 'farmer' has been caught in the middle of a terrorist fight, probably between HAMAS and Islamic Jihad. HAMAS is desperate trying to avoid a new main Israeli operation. Even if they have to fight Al Qaida-linked groups for that.
