It is scarcely believable that Mitzvah Day did not exist in 2004, so deeply ingrained is it now in the fabric of our community - and beyond. With 25,000 participants and 350 events, it is awesome in scale and deep in its reach. It is also one of those ideas that are so simple, so obvious and so right that they seem as if they are a product of nature, rather than the result of the inspiration and hard work, in this case by the dedicated (and tiny) team at Mitzvah Day UK.
