For a moment let's forget our political sides and agendas - maybe this is a phase that Israel needs to go through to be established and there's no way round the ugly side of war?

On the other where can the government or the religious leaders of Israel make changes that will benefit all the people of the land (for a moment forget the Palestinians and what they can do, as Israel are in the driving seat and can steer this in the right direction), the middle east and the wider world? If Israel are to be 'a light to the gentiles (and the world)' - they need peace (otherwise it's like a well intentioned mother telling her kid not to smoke while she chain-smokes with a fag constantly hanging from her lip).

Come on guys let's look at some constructive comments that could solve this problem! Ok maybe I'm a little on the centre left wing of the spectrum, but war never brings peace does it?
