"Good-bye Dubai"

November 24, 2016 22:54

"Good-bye Dubai", Tarantino's latest outing after "Inglorious Basterds", is another macabre killer-thriller which will certainly thrill a Jewish audience. The action is transported from Nazi occupied France and takes place in shop-till-you-drop Dubai. And there are no camels with a starring role.

George Moustached-Clooney plays Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, the infamous Hamas arms dealer and mass murderer that the Israelis love to hate. He looks great but sometimes struggles with his Arabic accent.

And Brad Pitt plays Yehuda Levy, the suave Mossad operative who master-minds Mahmoud al-Mabouh's murder. Pitt's Israel/English accent is a wonder to behold... his Hebrew could be straight off the beach in Tel Aviv.

Daniel Craig, in a carbon copy of his James Bond blockbuster role, is the Head of MI5 in Dubai and hands out the British passports.

Gordon Brown, on a reported fee of $2,000,000 has a small role as the British PM. And Tony Blair, as always, convincingly plays himself. Apparently he didn't need the big bucks and was prepared to work for Tarantino for free.

You have to hand it to Tarantino. He has made another Must See. "Good-bye Dubai" is a five star winner with a great cast. You would be a fool to miss it.
