Despite what the naysayers will have you believe.
The Gandhi Foundation awarded it's annual Gandhi International Peace Prize to the Parents Circle - Bereaved Families Forum, the first time a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization has received the award, said a statement released by the organization on Thursday.
The prize was presented Wednesday at the House of Lords in London in the presence of parliament members, representatives of the Gandhi Foundation, and a large audience.
The statement said the prize was awarded in celebration of the Parents Circle's work to promote peace and reconciliation between bereaved families from both sides of the conflict.
