articlemain

LoveYentl? The get down to JW3 at the end of the month to see its amateur dramatics group, Spielers, present Isaac Basevis Singer’s classic story. Set amongst the shtetls of 19th century Poland, Yentl tells the story of an Orthodox Jewish girl who defies tradition by disguising herself as a man in order to study in a rabbinical school.
