Tikvah Chadasha (Shenfield, Brentwood and Districts Synagogue) celebrated a special b’nei mitzvah at the weekend as triplets Isabella, Nathan and Amelia Murphy came of age.
Their parents, Karen and Andy, joined the congregation soon after its formation in 2010. Grandparents Judith and Geoff Franklin were among the founder members and Mrs Murphy now serves as its chair. “The triplets were outstanding on Shabbat,” said the community’s Jan Feldman.
“Having attended cheder from age five, these wonderful children give their all to everything they do. The shul was packed with community members, family and friends, including two great-grandmothers and the triplets’ big brother Robert.”
