World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki and Victoria Azarenka (10) will lead a galaxy of top female stars when the Federation Cup Europe Group One tournament is held in Israel early next year.

The International Tennis Federation has awarded the 16-team competition to Eilat, which will include Denmark, Belarus and Israel.

Sixteen nations will be divided into four groups with the winners of the round robin tournament from each group playing in semi-finals. The two semi-final winners will move onto promotion/relegations playoffs for the Federation Cup World Group.

The chances of Israel, led by Shahar Peer (13), returning to the World Group after a two-year absence have been enhanced by the good form of 20-year-old Julia Glushko who after winning the Acre Open in Israel last month, won a tournament in Australia last week. She is expected to move back into the world's top 300.
