Winning mentality can inspire Team GB, says Rackind

Robert Rackind has been appointed chairperson for Team GB’s Squash teams for the 20th Maccabiah Games.

Rackind has won gold at the Maccabiah both as a player and a manager and he is confident his experiences of the Games will lift the squad to new heights.

"Competing for my country at the Maccabiah was one of the greatest experiences of my life,” said Rackind.

"Being appointed team chair is not just an honour but a lifelong ambition. I am already tingling with excitement about the event and can’t wait to be a part of the Great Britain’s delegation as we walk into the stadium at the Opening Ceremony. It will be a truly memorable life experience.

"In terms of my aims for the competition there is only one world and that is gold - both gold in terms of medals and the memories I want my managers and players to experience in this unique life moment."
