articlemain

Hendon Hawks Rovers Under 11s started the nine-a-side season with a 4-0 victory over Alyth Belsize.

Having already clinched the seven-a-side league undefeated, Rovers grabbed the initiative through David Amor following a slide-rule pass from Roni Ornadel. Akiva Restan set up Amor for his and Hendon's second early in the second half. Restan scored a third with a superb free-kick into the top corner before Amor completed his hat-trick to make it 43 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Goals from Josh Caplan (2), Danny Shina (2) and Ben Sugarman, with his ninth goal of the season, helped Pinner JFC Under 12s secure a 5-4 victory over Abbotts Youth. Victory took Pinner eight points clear of their opponents in the Watford Friendly League Green Division. Club chairman Les Conway said: "I hope it's the foundation for some enjoyable years ahead."
