Reich Insurance White kicked off life with a crushing win over their Blue counterparts.

The whites were formed following an influx of players keen to play for Reich.

And the new boys began in style to stun Tony Rosenberg's side.

Joint-manager Michael Gastwirth said: "With so many players signed up creating another team was the only way we could get 48 players to play every week.

"That's what we are all about. There's no first or second teams. We are on the same level and we want the blues to win just like they want us to win.

"There was one winner here and from our point of view we couldn't be happier. It was a competitive game played in a good spirit as you would expect. There's never been any issues between the two teams."

The Blues had made an eye-catching start to the season but they were caught cold here. Simeon Goodman struck twice with Simi Hibbert and Matt Polden also netting.

Jordan Gold hit back for the Blues in co-manager Stuart Delmonte absence.

Gaswirth, who will take joint charge with Ben Burton, added: "We will all be working together every week. Each team will have their own players but there will be some floaters who could turn out for respective teams when needs must."

& Manchester Maccabi 1st returned to winning ways in the Cheshire and Manchester League.

Scott McGarvey's side are showing signs of finding their feet following a 4-0 win over Partington.

David Herman (2), Oli Grant and Mark Bell were on target. But there was disappointment for the second team, who lost 4-3 against PWC.
