Redbridge out of County Cup

Goals from Steve Summers and Daniel Cooper did not prevent Redbridge Jewish Care A being eliminated from the County Cup as they lost 6-2 against Turkish outfit Yavruyatan at the quarter-final stage.

Mike Pearson (2), Yoav Lebens and Josh Morris kept London Maccabi Lions A top of the JC MSFL Premier Division after they thumped Hendon United B 4-0.

Second-placed Faithfold A saw off London Maccabi Lions B 4-0 with strikes from Benji Dymant (2), Daryl Phillips and Daniel Howard.

Division One promotion rivals Southgate Harmen A drew 2-2 with Montana Boca United A. Dan Beckwith and new signing Assi Avital put Harmen in the box seat. But Montana hit back with goals from Trevor Henen and Simon Wax.

Three goals from Steve Weston eased Brady Maccabi to a 4-0 victory over Brixton Old Boys.

Oakwood flexed their promotion muscles with a 4-2 victory over Redbridge B. Daniel Geey, Matt Geey, Ben Myers and Daniel Abrams were the marksmen. Richie Caplin and Dan Gordon replied.

Promotion seeking Lions C came from two down to draw against Chigwell Athletic in Division Two. Russell Becker and Doron Weinstein struck for the East Londoners but Sam Rudnick and Ami Wynbourne replied.

Mitch Young and a 20-yard bullet from Simon Buchler gave FC Team A victory over Faithfold B.

Richard Salmon (4) and David Silver (3) steered FC Team B to their first win as they beat Holy Mount Zion 7-3.

Rob Benson (2) and John Fisher registered as Temple Fortune climbed into second with a 3-0 success at Southgate Harmen B.

Raphael Noe, Gav Noe and Shuey Mirwis kept alive Hendon United C’s Division Three promotion hopes as they beat Zig Zag 3-1. Josh Toff replied.

David Prager, Matt Gilbery, Josh Lewis, Paul Rubenstein, Daniel Scott and Jason Miller netted as L’Equipe won the French derby 6-1 against FC Marylebone.

FC Heath were well beaten by leaders Montana Boca United B for whom Mark Simons (3) and Jamie Rosen found the net.

Zac Newman (2), Nick Hudson, Eli Houri and player-manager Phil Peters boosted UJS Norstar A’s title hopes with a 5-1 mauling of Faithfold C.

Woodford Wanderers claimed maximum points from a double-header against basement battlers Catford & Bromley Maccabi. Jerome Marks, Adam Poole and Jamie Golding hit the target as the Wanderers won the opener 3-2. Darryl Green and Golding wrapped up the points as the follow-up.

A Craig Sandford treble paved the way for Redbridge C’s 7-1 demolition of Blizzard Storm. Jake Sanders, Dave Castle, Josh Barnett and Michael Konzon completed the rout.

Jewventus took four points out of six against title-chasing Glenthorne United. Richard Fogelman was the matchwinner in part one. Gabriel John and Louis Taylor ensured a share of the spoils in game two.

Moishe Noe (3), Gideon Lipman and Daniel Braunhold helped Hendon D thump Pinner JFC 6-2. Dean Shaw and Saul Gallick replied.

Team JLGB lost top spot in Division Four following a double-header against Real Life. Jonny Bruck bagged a brace as Real opened up with a 2-1 win. Jamie Beaumont joined Bruck as the second game finished all square. Frazer Levy was among the JLGB marksmen.

UJIA moved a point clear at the top despite sharing the spoils with Athletic Bilbaum in a double-header.
