Rafi Klynes was the Maccabi Manchester Blue hat-trick hero as Oakhill Lions were taught a lesson.

The students were punished as Klynes bagged a treble before Gabe Silver and Mark Mann weighed in.

Maccabi Manchester Blue jumped off the bottom at the expense of the Yellows.

And player-manager Simon Kaye now doesn’t want the league to finish.

He said: "It has taken us time, perhaps too long, but we are now getting our rewards. We were the superior side here all over the pitch.

"There is just one game remaining now before we embark on the cup competitions. It would have been nice for us to be playing in the league as we want to climb the table.

"Meanwhile, Alex Swift’s brace helped Heaton Park Rovers kick-off their Shon Trophy campaign with a 2-1 win over South Manchester Sports 2nd. Dan Linton responded for South.
