Peer crashes out in round one of Wimbledon

Shahar Peer poor run of form continued as she crashed out of Wimbledon at the first hurdle in the Ladies singles competition at Wimbledon.

In a match held over from Tuesday, Peer was beaten in convincing fashion by Germany's Julia Goerges in a match lasting just 55 minutes.

The Israeli made a catalogue of unforced errors and served three doubles faults as she tumbled out 6-2, 6-2.
