Olympic Games: Day 10 round-up

Australian sprinter Steven Solomon finished last in the final of the Men's 400m at Olympic Park.

The rookie runner told JC Sport: "I achieved all my goals this week - reaching the final and recording two PBs. I can walk away with my head held high."

Solomon, 19, will also feature in the 4x400m relay.

Having produced an heroic comeback against Spain last time out, David Blatt's Russian team were edged out 75-70 by Australia in Monday morning.

Israel's Synchronised swimmers - Inna Yoffe and Anastasia Gloushkov failed to reach the final after placing 17th in the free routine qualification round.

There was also disappointment for sailors Gifi Kliger and Eran Sela.
