Montana Boca United have withdrawn from the Maccabi League due to an ageing squad and a shortage of players.
The decision was made following Sunday's 4-1 defeat against North West Neasden B with the team lying bottom of the Division One table.
Club chairman Raymond Harrod set the club up 16 years ago with Bob Major and Marc Zeidman. The club played in the Premier Division in season 2009/10, but had won just two out of 13 matches this season.
Harrod said: "It has been a very difficult decision, but I feel it is the right decision. This has been on my mind the whole of this season and even last season.
"Everyone connected to Montana can walk away with some fantastic memories.
"When I started the club the aim was to play in every division and this is something we achieved together, with much fun.
"Unfortunately, due to age and other commitments for players, it has been very hard over the past 18 months. We were unable to bring in quality replacements."
The team's last victory came on October 2. The clubs results will be expunged from league records as they had not fulfilled 75 per cent of their fixtures.
League chairman David Wolff said: "It's a great shame for both them and the league, but it’s nobody’s fault. They have been a great credit to us over many years."
