London Maccabi Lions Under 16s experienced the highs and lows of the game as they clinched one piece of silverware but missed out on another.

In an action-packed seven days, the Lions were crowned champions of the Watford Friendly League White division but missed out on a place in the final of the League Cup.

Doubles from Adam Arnold and Stanley Offord saw them come from 3-0 down to draw 4-4 against second place Alexandra Park in their final league game. Adam Arnold finished as league top-scorer with 21 goals. Jason Goldstein's troops went down 4-0 to Omonia in the last four of the cup.
