Manchester Maccabi duo Ray Tammam and Steve Pearlman added a club record stand of 89 – but it was not enough to stave off another league defeat.

Daniel Franks and Adam Schogger both picked up three wickets apiece during an innings which also featured more than 30 wides.

Chasing 186 to win against Olympic, Tammam hit an impressive 46 as the visitors battled to record their first success of the season.

But despite the valiant efforts of both men, Maccabi finally finished on 120-8 from their allotted overs and remain without a win to their name.
