Maccabi Tel Aviv lost 99-71 to CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague final in Madrid. The six-time European champions, who were playing in their 13th European final, trailed throughout the match and were outclassed for long periods. In the semi-final, Maccabi had clawed back an 18-point deficit to beat Sienna 92-85.
