Maccabi Masters review: September 22

Strikes from Rob Cohen and Andy Bloom helped North London Raiders move to the top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One following a 2-1 victory over Scrabble.

Southgate Harmen registered an impressive 4-2 victory over former league winners Brady Maccabi A, with goals from Paul Gold (2), Lloyd Becker and Alex Bourne. Brady’s goals came through Adam Gishen and Scott Ansher.

Joel Nathan fired a hat-trick to send EDRS Stonegrove to the top of Division Two following a 9-0 demolition of Hendon Harriers. Marc Schneiderman (2), Ian Sassoon, Ian Leader, Mark Kingston and Malcolm Joseph completed the rout.

Marc Morris (2), David Price and Mark Rose were the goal men as London Maccabi Lions overcame St John’s Wood Tigers 4-2. Ashley Marks bagged a brace for the Tigers.

Marshside beat local rivals Glenthorne United B 2-1 with goals from Fara Moghim and Danny Cuby. Jason Levy had equalised for a Glenthorne team who finished with 10 men following a sending off.
