The squad managed by Sport’s Chair Stuart Lustigman and Greenston will be made up of a mix of people who have represented TMGB at previous Maccabiahs, as well as some new players who are keen to make their mark on the international stage.

Speaking about the selection and his expectations for the Games, Greenston said: “It is an honour to represent your country in any capacity and from my past experiences competing against other countries in Israel, this is something which is never forgotten.

“We are looking forward to taking part but we will be trying our best to compete and bring home a medal of any colour.

“We are bringing many players who have competed at previous Maccabiah Games, including father and son trio, Alan, Andrew and James Cohen and Bernard Davidson who will be competing at his seventh Games – a major achievement for any athlete.”
