Strikes from Danny Schindler, Marc Morris and Frank Steinberg helped Maccabi London Lions secure a league and cup double following a 3-0 success over Glenthorne United at Wingate & Finchley on Tuesday night.
The newly-crowned Division Two league champions went into the Nathan Horwitz MMFL Division 2 Cup final as favourites, and they did not disappoint.
Defender Schindler put Lions ahead on 38 minutes with a close-range header before striker Morris fired home in the 65th minute from Michael Abraham’s cross to double their lead.
The victory was sealed with a late penalty converted by Steinberg.
