Kosky names squad for Olim Mundial

articlemain

New England FC manager Dan Kosky has named a 15-man squad for the Olim Mundial in Israel.

The Mundial will feature 24 teams of Olim from around the world who will face each other in Tel Aviv next month.

Kosky has a good blend of experience and youth in his squad, which features six changes to the squad that was beaten in the semi-finals of the 2012 Mundial by the host nation.

Kosky said: "We've got a squad full of players with great technical ability. With the quality and experience that we have at our disposal, there is every reason to believe that we can do better than last year.

"We've got our eyes on the big prize and can't wait to get the tournament underway."

Tel Aviv Futsal star Motti Colman will captain the Olim Mundial squad. He said: "Last year we were seen as an underdog and I think we surprised a lot of people in reaching the last four.

"But we are just as comfortable being seen as challengers, and with an improved squad from last year I think that there is no reason we can't go even further."

SQUAD:
Simon Davies
Motti Colman (capt)
Yoni Sidi
Nicholas Plotnek
Avi Korman
Moishe Lewis
Josh Hantman
Jakob Kalms
Tal Stern
Benji Engelsman
Rob Bradman
Sam Silverberg
Lewis Kaye
Gideon Bernstein
Lolu Hibbert
