NOMINATIONS

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A
Ari Nevies (CB) - the whole defence was superb, with Ari just the pick of the bunch with a totally faultless performance
Avidan Last (S) - two goals and put in a tremendous shift

--------------------

LONDON ROVERS
Yisroel Lewis - solid throughout and fantastic assist for Avi's second.
Avi Markiewicz (S) - hat-trick and worked extremely hard, also setting up the first goal for Vogel and winning and scoring his hat-trick penalty

--------------------

L'EQUIPE
Mark Glucksman (GK) - kept us in the game throughout making three outstanding saves

--------------------

AC WHETSTONE
Clive Nathan (CB) - looked after the NWN very big frontman and he did the job perfectly from then on not putting a foot wrong and not allowing the NWN striker another sniff. His performance settled the young team
Ben Pollins (GK) - would probably have got man of the match for a performance a la Courtois with hands and feet – but the boys gave it to Clive for a sterling performance

--------------------

NORTH WEST NEASDEN
Danny Sherman (S) - first game up top, was superb, three goals, led the line and was involved in every thing good we did. Take a bow!
Josh Tiano (LB) - set up two goals and was superb throughout
Dan Andrews (RB) - didn't lose a tackle and always available in midfield
Craig Edwards (CB) - a very good performance and goal to match
Rick Harris (CM) - keeps the team ticking, fantastic attitude and, at 45, gets better with every game

--------------------

LOS BLANCOS
Simon Moses (S) - well-taken hat-trick, making it five goals in two games for Moses

--------------------

TEMPLE FORTUNE
Tony Hirschstein (GK) - made several fines against the Lions

--------------------

OAKWOOD B
Ben Polak (D) - filled in so well at centre back - and grabbed the crucial goal to put us ahead
Josh Berkley and Adam Blin (D) - were exemplary in the full-back positions

--------------------

CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI
Nick Goodmaker (LB) - exceptional in defence and left-wing forays, a constant threat. Directly involved in both Catford first goal. Exceptional in defence and going forward and made two of the best last ditch tackles Adam Luria has "ever seen" in Sunday football

--------------------

HARMEN
Max Shields (GK) – making his league debut for Harmen, looked comfortable between the sticks, making a couple of great saves to keep our lead at 1-0 and getting an assist for our second
George Fierstone (CM) – looks to have found his feet this season, effortlessly controlling the play from the middle of the pitch and was unlucky not to grab a couple of goals himself
Marc Foster (CM) – quietly went about his business today, holding onto the ball when necessary and spreading it out to other players to build attacks. Never afraid to go in for a tackle or to get his head on the ball
James Gershfield (ST) – it takes a special player to score a couple against the league leaders and Gersh showed that he is just that

--------------------

TEMPLE FORTUNE
Matt Leader (CM) - had his best game this season and was a constant threat going forward in a creative capacity but also excellent in the tackle. Jonathan Cohen's man-of-the-match
Gavin Levy (CM) – excellent in a holding role, winning almost all of his challenges and providing a platform on which to start Fortune attacks
Tony Hirschstein (GK) - Player and Save of the Week contender – in very wet and greasy conditions he caught every cross, was quick of his line to win the ball at players feet and made a superb one-handed save at full stretch to turn a strong and well-directed header around the post

--------------------

FC TEAM C
Matt Davis (FC Team C) - nominated by FC Team B - "exceptional kept the C Team in the game with a string of brilliant saves. Best keeper amateur Jewish goalie of our generation". C-team boss David Gordon added - first game in goal in three years. Made two excellent and crucial saves at 0-1

--------------------

--------------------

ATHLETIC BILBAUM
Simon Roth (GK) - was fantastic against NLR B, and pulled off some unreal saves

--------------------

CAMDEN PARK
Rob 'Bobby H' Hershkorn (S) - talismanic skipper is in the form of his life at the moment, and bagged an important brace including a quite special 35-yard ping into the top corner to open the scoring, made all the more sweet as it was against his old club. An almost perfect day for Camden's no. 7 and worth every penny of the expensive transfer fee
Josh Marks (D) - filled in at the back in the absence of Mike Khalastchi and didn't put a foot wrong all game

--------------------

FC TEAM A
Ed Weisz (CB) - made some great challenges in the game and was an absolute rock
