John Nitka, the Brixton boss, told JC Sport: "We made hard work of the game in this hot weather however class showed - Jamie Kent opened the scoring on 35 mins and we had to wait until a 60 minute penalty that was neatly tucked away by Rob Hershkorn and finally a screamer from James Kaye from just outside the box on 79 minutes.

"Onto the next round and back to the league programme next week against Chigwell which will be a totally different game."
