JC MSFL Goal of the Week: Oct 16

There were some absolute crackers on Matchday 7 of the JC MSFL season. Here is the pick of the bunch.

WINNER: - Steve Summers (Redbridge JC A) - picked up the ball with back to goal, turned beautifully then skipped past one players on the edge of the area, shimmied to the left, then to the right - which took out two defenders - before passing it into the bottom corner, wrong-footing Harmen keeper Matt Davis

- Lolu Hibbert (Hendon Utd SC B) - scored a cracker from 25 yards

- Ben Rosenblatt (Harmen B) - 30-yard screamer to cap off a great performance a superb hat-trick

- Darren Cohen (Montana) - GOAL 2 - after two shots hit the post, the ball came out to Simon Lindall on left wing he crossed perfect for Cohen on the edge of the box to volley the ball past the keeper

- Dan Jacobs (Montana) - dribbled from the right wing across the pitch around four players to knock it into the left hand corner under the keeper

- Greg Corin (Hendon Utd SC A) - picked up the ball wide on the left on the half-way line and dinked inside leaving two players in his wake. He laid a square ball inside to Ben Lauffer on the edge of the area then continued his run to the right where Ben fed him beautifully with a first-time pass which Greg struck again first time back across the keeper and into the net. Quality!

- John Fisher (Temple Fortune A) - a sumptuous long-range screamer

- Nicky Plotnek (Shirley Park) - the on-rushing Plotnek released a 30-yard Rooney-esque thunderbolt volley bang in the top corner, showing unbelivable tekkers!

- Richard Mail (L'Equipe) - scored a goal “made in Scotland”. Great play from Josh Lewis who switched the ball from the left wing to the right for Steven Black who beat his man a deliver an inch-perfect cross for Mail to coolly slot the ball in the bottom right hand corner

- Jonny Cutter (LM Lions B) - headed clearance fell to Lions new boy Jonny Cutter on the edge of the box who lashed home a ferocious strike into the top corner
