articlemain

WINNER: - Steve Summers (Redbridge JC A) - an absolute 'worldie' to earn his team a point against Hendon

--------------------------------------

NOMINEES:

- Rob Hershkorn (Brixton A) - stunning individual effort against Harmen B

- Matt Tahan (Brixton A) - a 30-yard screamer against Harmen B

- Motty Korman (Hendon B) - needing a win to keep up title challenge, Korman scored the all important second goal with 10 to go. The ball dropped in box, he beat a defender with first touch and drilled ball in top corner

- Joel Berwitz (Catford & Bromley) - a delightful chip over the keeper after a defence-splitting through ball from Adam Lewis

- Joe Stolerman (Blizzard Storm) - a 30-yard stunner into the top corner

- Ben Mandell (Athletico Finchley) – the winger sprinted from the halfway line, all the way to the corner flag and some how managed the keep the ball in play. Mandell then took the ball, knocked it past the Los Blancos full back before unleashing a bending and dipping shot fro outside the box. The ball seemed to move in slow motion as it flew perfectly into the top right hand corner of the goal

- Ben Loftus (Faithfold B) - full-bloodied drive into the top corner

- Joel Symons (FC Team C) - a 35-yard screamer which swerved into the top left corner of the net, hitting the intersection of post and bar

- Joey Glynne (Temple Fortune A) - cracked a 25-yard screamer right in the proverbial postage stamp

- David Esterkin (NL Raiders B) - a really well-worked goal. Some lovely one-touch football down the left channel between Jamie Wolfson, Dinkin and Woolf set Esterkin free and he confidently took the ball past Law and tapped into an empty net

- James Joseph - a great 30-yard curler

- Jamie Cooper (FC Team C) - a wonderful strike. He knocked the ball past his man on the left wing, cut inside and unleashed a screamer on his left foot into the top corner leaving Jerome Colmans in the Brady goal just standing and admiring
