JC MSFL Goal of the Week: March 18

articlemain

WINNER: - Ollie Craig (LM Lions A) - a goal of real quality. Captain Yoav Lebens fed the ball into the path of top-scorer Craig, who subsequently swiveled onto his right foot to crash the ball into the top right corner, leaving the goalkeeper firmly rooted to the spot

--------------------------------------

- Craig Edwards (FC Team A) - received the ball on the right flank bouncing from an acute angle 25 yards out half volleyed a rocket into the top corner to put Team back into the game

- Jonny Cutter (LM Lions B) - the most nonchalant goal you'll see. Back to goal in the box, ball comes over the top to him where he proceeds to scoop the ball with the outside of his foot , all in one touch and lob the advancing keeper

- Ashley Lawrence (SPEC FC) - Ricky Lawrence picked up the ball about 30 yards out and drove forward before playing a perfectly weighted ball to his brother Ashley to slot home a late equaliser with aplomb

- Ashley Burns (SPEC FC) - cometh the hour cometh the man. Craig Cohen's perfect corner was met with a thumping header to ensure SPEC signed off at home with a huge victory

- Josh Dagul (Brady B) - with the game against Temple Fortune B deadlocked at 2-2, the Brady player-manager beat three men and placed an exquisite chip over the keeper to set up a promotion-clinching victory

- Alex Bowman (LM Lions A) - a fine outside of the left foot finish past the oncoming keeper

- Paul Walker (Temple Fortune A) - there was a deadly silenced as the Fortune skipper turned and cracked home a stunning effort from 25 yards that whistled into the top corner
