Holland end Israel's World Cup aspirations

articlemain

Ra’anan Penn says Israel were outclassed as they saw their hopes of qualifying for the 2015 World Cup quashed by a rampant Holland team at the Wingate Institute in Netanya.

Israel, who play in Division 2B of the European Championships, were blown away by the Division 2A leaders, with the visitors cruising to a 52-8 victory.

Penn said: "This was greatest challenge we had ever faced and Holland were better than us in every department.

"They breached our defence time and again, and only towards the end did we improve."
