Hapoel Tel Aviv remain on course to reach the group stage of the Champions League after earning a 6-0 aggregate victory over Željezničar in Sarajevo on Wednesday night.

Leading 5-0 from the first leg in Israel last week, the Israeli champions earned a 1-0 win in the away leg with a 76th winner from Brazilian defender Douglas da Silva the icing on the cake.

New signing Ben Sahar, the former Chelsea striker, did not feature despite having recently signed a one-year loan deal from Espanyol. Nigerian keeper Vincent Enyeama, who has been linked with a move to Porto, was another absentee.

Hapoel must beat Kazakh champions Aktobe in the third qualifying round to reach the money-spinning group stage.
