Aron Sharpe expressed delight after Wingate & Finchley were granted a reprieve from relegation.

The FA and the Ryman League confirmed that Wingate shall rejoin the Ryman Premier Division for season 2014/15 following the resignation of Worksop Town from the Northern Premier, which left one spare place at Step 3 which comes to the Blues as the highest ranked team on 'points-per-game'.

Sharpe said: "We shall grasp the opportunity with both hands and look forward to once again competing in the top division."
