Division 3 Team of the Season: profiles

articlemain

Bradley Grant (Glenthorne United A) - "played all but two games this year. Missed Sunday's league winning game, which he was gutted about, but will be back for the final game next week.

Adam Sandzer (Norstar B) - "Stars skipper has played centre-back, full back and centre-mid. Adam has always done what the team needed this season, performing with quality, commitment and discipline. He has bagged so useful goals from set-plays and been a figure of inspiration.

Josh Gaon (Norstar B) - "21-year-old has played wide left and left back this season. He has the running of Gareth Bale, the cutting in of Arjen Robben and the throw of Rory Delap. Josh scored some important goals as well as offering dedication and quality all season"

Lee Ballen (Redbridge Jewish Care C) - "Quality defender, should be playing at a higher level. A commanding figure at the back"

Josh Sugarbread (Faithfold C) - a regular scorer who pops up all over the park. His willingness and energy rubs off on his teammates. Does the running for three players (I won't say which three!)

Dan Breger (Heath Banta) - "gives 110 per cent week in, week out. Like the energiser bunny, covering more ground, making more tackles and winning more headers than everyone else. Heart and soul of the team. Only missed a handful of games in five years with the club, a Banta hall of famer for sure"

Daniel Shafron (Glenthorne United A) - "a great professional, brilliant and creative player". Redbridge boss Richard Bronzite wishes he had him.

Daniel Lipman (Glenthorne United A) - someone asked me the other day if Lippy is favourite to win Division Two Player of the Year. My reply was, is the Chief Rabbi Jewish! Nuff said!

Sam Sollosi (Redbridge Jewish Care C) - Richard Bronzite's jewel in the crown. This 16-year-old and has the ability to do whatever he wants, he is unreal, best Sollosi so far, will be playing in higher divisons probably from next season. Once he grows, I can't see how anyone will get the ball of him!

Ben Simons (Faithfold C) - Mr Goals. Always tries to play with a smile on his face. Feed the goat and he will score

Dan Gordon (Redbridge Jewish Care C) - "captain marvel, works hard for the team, been brilliant 99% of the time a great finisher"
