David Bogen wins four Taekwon-Do medals

TAEKWON-DO David Bogen won four medals at the European Taekwon-Do Championships in Italy.

A former JFS pupil, Bogen brought home two silver and two bronze in both individual categories and team events in a competition featuring 700 participants from 29 countries. Bogen, 31, is a 5th degree black belt and an international instructor and examiner in the martial art.

Bogen said: "The competition was extremely fierce. I was up against European and World champions and am extremely proud of my medal tally."

Under Bogen's guidance, a number of his students have enjoyed excellent results at the national English and London Open Championships with several fighters collecting medals.

Bogen said: "We are currently preparing for the forthcoming London Open Championships in July with many of our junior students keen to retain their titles."

David's instructor, Nissan Moradoff, a 6th dan black belt and head of UKTD, said: "I am keen to support and prepare David in his training towards the World Championships."
