Danny Caro's Team of the Week: February 10

articlemain

There were some stand-out performances from players amid awful conditions on Matchday 22 of the JC MSFL season.

1. Russell CORIN (Hendon United Sports Club A) – “brilliant handling in extremely difficult condition coupled with at least four super saves” against Oakwood

2. Harrison GRANT (Redbridge JC B) – “a willing runner with plenty of end product and goal as well”

3. Marc HYAMSON (Oakwood B) – “was very good against Loughton Orient. He was roaming between the lines in true trequartista style”

4. Josh LIPMAN (Hendon United Sports Club A) - put in a typically rock-solid performance, playing alongside Ari Nevies, against Oakwood who nominated him. He was the heartbeat of the Hendon team and reminded everyone just why he was named Player of the Season last year

5. Ollie KAY (Brady Maccabi B) – “another excellent display in the heart of defence from Kay. After a somewhat shaky start to this campaign the imposing centre half is hitting form at just the right time, forming an intimidating partnership with captain Frohlich”

6. Saul CONWAY (Shirley Park) – “put in a solid performance in the centre of the park” for Park against Lions B

7. David POWELL (Catford & Bromley Maccabi) – “unbeatable on the floor and in the air. Nothing got past him today and with the ball at his feet he launched counter-attack after counter-attack. The only way to describe his performance would be "awesome”

8. Dan HARROD (Brady Maccabi B) – “the ever-reliable Harrod was at it again as Brady went and collected a hard earned three points in Essex. Another three assists and set the tempo for all things Brady did well”

9. Ben BINDER (Redbridge JC B) – “led the line brilliantly and scored two well-taken goals and deserved a hat-trick and the 'United Sports' matchball”

10. Mitch HAHN (Woodford Wanderers) – six goals against Hendon B. No further description needed

11. Josh YOUNGER (Norstar C) – three accomplished finishes to complete the comeback against Boca
