There were a number of eye-catching performances last weekend. Here's why this lucky XI got the nod.

Nick Rubin (Blizzard Storm) - received plaudits from both managers following his heroics in the goalless draw against Shirley Park.

Max Kyte (LM Lions C) - "opened up Oakwood’s midfield on numerous occasions with passes from defence straight to the striker"

Craig Sandford (Redbridge JC A) - "looked totally comfortable in what is a very unfamiliar position for him. The backbone of a very competent and organised back four"

Justin Spiro (LM Lions A) - a rock at the back in the clash against Faithfold A

Rik Sherman (NL Raiders B) - "again led the team exceptionally, he probably shouldn't have played as he has been struggling with a calf injury but you wouldn't have noticed. He was commanding at the back and always a threat going forward"

Nick Benson (Norstar B) - playing alongside Adam Lipman, Jonny Peters and Harry Abrams, Benson was the star of the show in the impression 2-0 win over Redbridge C

Jonny Breger (FC Team A) - four goals from midfield. His manager, Mitch Young, called him "the Jewish Frank Lampard"

Josh Cohen (Glenthorne Utd A) - "asked to plan a new role as a holding midfielder and was superb"

Daniel Hildebrand (Faithfold B) - back to his best with a fab four-goal salvo against Hendon B

Steve Summers (Redbridge JC A) - in the words of his manager Sam McCarthy, following his four-goal blitz against Neasden B: "No-one can hold the ball up front better then him. Clinical finishing from an outstanding performance"

Rick Harris (Camden Park) - "scored two and forced an OG playing as an emergencey centre forward against Montana"
