articlemain

Here are the stand-out performers from Matchday 4 of the MGBSFL.

1. SCOTT SHEAR (Redbridge JC B) - "saved a brilliant penalty and deserved his clean sheet" against table-toppers Raiders B

2. NATHAN SCHINDLER (ML Lions B) - "an awesome performance at centre half" against Faithfold

3. JOSH BENTLEY (Scrabble FC) - "the experienced defender came on midway through the first half for the injured Brandon Sassoon but was a rock at the heart of the Scrabble defence"

4. RAFI ADDLESTONE (Real Hendon) - "won everything in the air and on the floor at centre back and started attacks well with this range of passing"

5. RICHARD ADAMS (Catford & Bromley Maccabi) - "has to be in it. Solid at the back led in his final game with authority"

6. DANIEL POLAK (Finchley City FC) - "hat-trick hero on his first start of the season. Ruthless finishing in front of goal, so calm and composed"

7. YOAV LEBENS (Hendon Utd SC A) - "we needed a calm and experienced presence at the back today and Yoav provided it with a faultless display"

8. RUSSELL GOLDSTEIN (Redbridge JC A) - "now top-scorer with 4 league goals, full of energy and a goal threat rewarded today with a hat-trick. When you take Russell off, he talks so much, you are desperate to send him back on, thank goodness for roll-on, roll-off"

9. ADAM ELLIS (Hendon United SC B) - "not only did he grab himself 5 goals and an assist, he put his all into the game coming back to defend when needed and impressing with some great hold up play"

10. RICHARD FOGELMAN (Faithfold B) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

11. JIMMY CASTLE (Redbridge JC C) - hat-trick hero destroyed Temple Fortune's 100 per cent record

MANAGER: Sam Rank (Redbridge JC B)
