Danny Caro's Goal of the Week: November 24

articlemain

The was a Matt Le Tiss moment on Matchday 13 of the MGBSFL. Take a bow Michael Patterson.

WINNER: Michael Patterson (Boca Jewniors) - the goalkeeper knocked the ball out, Patterson brought it down and seeing the keeping of his line took two touches and from the edge of the centre circle neatly chipped it over the goalkeeper with power and accuracy

NOMINEES

- Alex Koslover (Oakwood A) - hit one on the half volley from 20+ yards. He caught it beautifully having waited the extra split second for the ball to drop. It flew into the far top corner.

- Andrew McMaster (NLR B) - Gilad Kestenbaum's reverse pass was on another level, perfectly weighted and took out both centre backs for Mc to slot past the keeper

- Jeremy Elster (NLR B) - a 40-yard raking cross field pass from Nicky Woolf on to a lung-busting run from Elster who raced in to the box and slid the ball inside the near post"

- Leor Harel (Faithfold B) - probably the goal of the game - a 25-yard screamer into the top corner

- Doron Hershkorn (Faithfold B) - mazy solo run past three players before a cool finish into the roof of the net

- Josh Jacobs (Loughton Orient) - met a whipped-in corner from the right with the flick of a boot and directed it into the top corner - it was a top quality finish

- Sam Castle (Southgate Harmen) - Ben Weinberg went past four players, eventually chipping the call to Castle who half-volleyed the ball into the top right corner from 25 yards

- Joel Isaacs (Catford & Bromley) - netted with a stunning volley from a tight angle after he had controlled a pass from ex-Fortune player Jeff Gotch

- Paul Savitz (FC Team B) – picked up the ball in the centre of midfield, drove past two players at once, held off another, and then beat a fourth man before curling a finish into the far corner from a difficult angle. Superb!

- Ben Graham (Redbridge JC A) - let the ball run across his body and struck it sweetly into the top corner, leaving Jake Doffman with no chance
