articlemain

These were the stand-out performers in Division Three on Matchday 3 of the MGBSFL.

1. Josh FREY (Jewdinese) - "capped an outstanding performance with a world-class save from a header within the six-yard box in which he scampered across his line to turn it past the post"

2. Toby NATHAN (AC Whetstone) - "read the game perfectly and looked very assured at all times. Not bad for a boy who only just turned 16"

3. Gavin RHODES (L’Equipe) - "incredibly composed making storming runs from the back"

4. Josh BARNETT (Faithfold C) - tower of strength at the back against Boca, won every tackle and every header in a dominant display

5. Noah BIER (AC Whetstone) - " very impressive central defensive performance"

6. Dan GRAY (L’Equipe) - "put in a solid shift in front of the back 4"

7. Mark SINGER (L’Equipe) - a typically robus display alongside Gray

8. Oli NATHAN (NL Raiders C) - "impressive midfield display and capped with a wonderful goal"

9. Richard FOGELMAN (L’Equipe) - "can't stop scoring, even with a jippy leg"

10. Dan GORDON (Faithfold C) - "took his goals superbly" against Boca

11. Joel ISAACS (Catford & Bromley Maccabi) - hat-trick hero in the seven-goal thriller against King Crown
