Danny Caro's Div 3 TOTW: December 15

articlemain

Here are the top men from Division Three on Matchday 16 of the MGBSFL.

1. Josh Frey (Jewdinese) - if it wasn't for Frey, NLR C would've won the top-of-the-table contest by a couple of goals

2. Noah Bier (AC Whetstone) - "tribute from Faithfold C's Dan Gordon (2nd top scorer in league) - "Noah Bier - the 16-year-old centre back is by far the best defender in this league, he reads the game so well and plays the game like he has been playing men's football for 10 years, not six months. A truly great defender"

3. Jake Yudelowitz (NL Raiders C) - "stand-in captain and played out of his skin as usual proving once again why he is the best defender in the league. Led the backline with confidence and didn't flinch in front of goal to net the all important equaliser"

4. Adam Conway (Loughton Orient) - "rock solid performance at the back and scored a lovely header to give us the lead as well as an assist for the third goal" against Catford

5. Ryan Kissin (Loughton Orient) - "marshalled the back four superbly and nothing was getting past him"

6. Matt West (Loughton Orient) - "got a great goal and was a threat the whole game. His quick feet and skill were fantastic to see"

7. Dan Howard (Loughton Orient) - "playing out of position, looked like he had played in the middle his whole life. Was everywhere today and drive the team forward"

8. David Blitz (Loughton Orient) - "excellent performance in the middle of the park. Played some lovely balls through and got a great assist for the second goal

9. Aaron Benjamin (AC Whetstone) - "outstanding against Faithfold C"

10. Richard Fogelman (L’Equipe) - "is now owed a club schnitzel" following his latest heroics - a hat-trick against King Crown. The marksman told JC Sport: "It was the best I've played all season". And after a couple of Tony Yeboah-esque efforts, he added: "Even Laurence Thorne said he hadn't seen a goal like that for a while!"

11. Alex Sherr (NL Raiders C) - "had his best performance for Raiders since joining, winning every tackle and ensuring the opposition didn't have any time in the middle of the pitch. A real box-to-box midfielder performance today showing why NLR put up big money to sign him"
